ARYA VEER DAL OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

The Arya Veer Dal is the Youth Arm of the Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of Trinidad. A religious, non-profit organization. Arya Veer Dal means Wise and Noble Youths, our Motto- “Assmaakam Vira Uttare Bhavantu – “Let the Brave and Wise Ones Lead”.

The Arya Veer Dal is made up of young adults who are involved in voluntary work namely religious, social, charitable, and recreational.  

The Dal, also seek to carry out the teachings of Maha Rishi Swami Dayanand Sarswati the Founder of the Arya Samaaj Movement.

The Arya Veer Dal have in the past, been doing charitable work, hosting functions, and have a yearly sleep-in youth training camp.  To help fund these events, the young members of the Veer Dal have different fund raisers.   

Swami Dayaanand Saraswati – the Founder of the Arya Samaj Movement and most prolific Hindu Reformer on whose initiative the Arya Veer Dal was formed, had a profound interest in the education of young people both sexes more so females.

During his lifetime he wanted to create a renewed society that was centered on sound education, morality and centered on God and goodness.

In order to realise his dreams, he targeted the young people who as we all know are the future leaders of the society.  In India – the land of his birth – there are over 400 Arya Veer Dal Organizations adhering to the strict codes of conduct set out by the Swami in his Satyarth Prakash and Sanskar Vidhi.

 The members also taught to become proficient in the performance of Hawan, yoga, languages, academics and most importantly of all the tenets of Vedic Satya Sanatan Dharma.
